Growing up, food in our home was never just fuel — it was love expressed through warm pots of curry, freshly made rotis, and the intoxicating smell of spices blooming in hot oil.

My mother and grandmother were my first teachers. I watched them make everything from scratch — koftas, biryanis, chutneys ground by hand on a sil batta. Their confidence in the kitchen was something I always admired and eventually inherited.

Now living in California with my family, I started Hooked on Flavor to share the halal recipes that define our table. These aren't restaurant recreations — they're the real thing, passed down through generations, written down so they're never forgotten.

Every recipe here is 100% halal, tested in my own kitchen, and shared with all the love that went into making it.
